Anxious Times

Unless you live on a remote island somewhere with no communications whatsoever, you understand that we are living within anxious times. With so much information at our fingertips, it’s difficult to ignore the increasing angst around the world. Every day seems to carry a different tale. I don’t believe that we humans were created to be in the midst of so much turmoil at any-one time. There are certainly days where I miss the much-simpler times of my youth.

While some are ready to leave this planet at a moment’s notice, and perhaps blast-off for mars or be raptured up into heaven….. I can assure you that God has a different plan. At least for the moment at hand. We are currently going through a time-in-history where the Lord needs all of his believers to be rowing in the same direction. There are most-definitely better times ahead, so don’t jump-ship just yet.

Whenever I have a sleepless night, I need to remind myself that God has everything within the palm of his hand. Recall here, that Jesus is also the "son of man" (his own statement) and has a heart for mankind. I am often comforted while reading the prophetic books of the Bible. Particularly, those of Daniel, Joel, and Habakkuk, which frame events that describe both Ancient and Modern Babylon. During these two unique eras, people of numerous cultures and languages (babble-on) are (and were) under the thumb of a single Babylonian system.

Since mankind is so sinful, the only way that God can keep us from completely obliterating ourselves, is to allow certain scenarios to take place which achieves a balance-of-power here on earth. To a great extent, this is why the Bible’s prophetic books were written well in advance. God has already written the script, we are merely its modern-day actors playing out parts within a well-scripted play.

As a prime example of God's watchful authority, the (man-made) scenario which brought us COVID is outlined for us within Daniel chapter-ten. Depending upon the biblical-version, this event is introduced as either a: “great war, great warfare, great conflict, great tribulation, time appointed, appointed time of trial, or times of great tribulation”. We are all survivors of this great-war prophecy. Thankfully, God and his Angels were here with mankind throughout, otherwise the COVID-era would have been many-times worse.

As another example of God's watchful authority, the world’s technology which we’ve become quite familiar with, is outlined for us within Daniel chapter-seven. Therein, the great Beasts described for us represent certain technologies. These technologies can also be interpreted as “kings”, since this is where the world’s wealth has been funneled into.

The Lion within Daniel chapter-seven represents explosive-weaponry and culminates as thermonuclear weapons. The subsequent Bear of verse-five, represents world-wide news and propaganda; whereby sometimes the Bear is hibernating. The Beast that immediately follows the Bear is the Leopard. Curiously, this leopard  is equipped with four-wings and four-heads.

This Leopard-beast represents the four Globalized Navigational Satellite Systems (GNSS of differing countries) which mankind utilizes to navigate time and space. Somewhat concerning, is the fact that our world’s time-system is dictated through these same satellite-constellations, since they were given the "authority to rule" (Daniel 7:6).

The most comforting part of these prophecies, is the fact that God is in the process of extracting power from the wicked and turning it over to the righteous. This is stated in Daniel 7:22, the same chapter of the Beasts I've just described.

The number which identifies this prior-verse while God pronounces judgment is very telling. I believe that this number twenty-two coincides with year 2022. Of course, this particular year was within the COVID era.

Below, I've listed some notable occurrences from 2022. You can determine for yourself which of these items are congruent with God pronouncing his judgment "in favour of the holy people of the Most High".

The Year of 2022 - Judgements?

• Jan. 3rd. In a joint statement signed on this date, the five permanent-members of the UN (China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, United States) affirmed the fact that their collective-will is to avoid a no-win arms-race and nuclear-war. 
• Jan. 22nd, The Canadian Freedom Convoy began in order to protest COVID restrictions and mandates.
• Feb. 24th. Vladimir Putin declares a "special military operation" in Ukraine. This was the beginning of the Russian/Ukrainian war.
• June 24th. The U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade decision on abortion.
• Oct. 28th. Elon Musk purchases Twitter with the goal of promoting free-speech. Today, a good percentage of the online news-media source first-hand information directly through X (Twitter).
• Nov. 8th. The U.S. midterm-elections tip the scale in the Republicans favour. Interestingly, a total lunar-eclipse which so happened to be a blood-moon occurred on this very same day.

Notable Occurrences for the 22nd Day

In addition to the above list for 2022, there's another couple of occurrences which also seem quite relevant, since they are associated with judgement and the number twenty-two.

• June 22/2025. Operation Midnight Hammer. This was the bombing of Iran's nuclear-weapon facility(s) during the Iran/Israel twelve-day war. 
• July 22/2025. This was the first-day of the Ukrainian anti-government protest. It was their first anti-government protest since the start of the war.

Whereas Daniel chapter-seven describes certain technologies as being "kings" (Daniel 7:17); Daniel chapter-eleven describes ongoing-sagas between actual human kings.

The narrative of chapter-eleven describes kings-of-the-north warring against kings-of-the-south through a series of a good-number of years. This chapter doesn't provide particulars as to who these kings are, other than to state that one king controls the northern-territory and another controls the southern-territory. That is, at least during the time of these so-described battles and excursions. Hence, each of these king's faces as well as their territories can change as we methodically read through the chapter. So, in order to determine which countries these verses pertain to, involves considerable effort. 

From my understanding, this chapter-eleven is describing battles across Europe and the Middle-East. Similar to earlier chapter-seven; simply by following the money, in addition to advanced-weaponry - oftentimes exposes these so-described "kings".

Concerning our current-times, an immense amount of money and weaponry (from around the world) has now been funneled into the Russian/Ukrainian War. So biblically speaking, Vladimir Putin is now the "king of the north" and Volodymyr Zelenskyy is the "king of the south".

Now, If I am correct; Vladimir Putin enters the scene in verse twenty-one. The following passage describes a number of his actions.

Later, in verse twenty-seven; it describes two kings (Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy) which sit across the table from one another and have a meeting of the minds. Unfortunately, it also states that the end of the current-war will not occur until an "appointed time". So, the end of the Russian/Ukrainian War relies upon God's timing.

To my knowledge, these two Kings have yet to sit across the table from each other and form an agreement which should ultimately end the war.

As God's swell of power continues to take hold, the righteous will be lifted up and blessed. This is detailed for us within the book of Joel (as well as Daniel and others). I believe that one of the reasons for the Russian/Ukrainian War taking as long as it has, is to allow the Jews (including all Israeli tribes) who wish to flee, a chance to do so. A great number of Jews from both Russia and Ukraine have immigrated to Israel since the beginning of the war. 

I am quite optimistic for the days ahead, as I truly believe that we are heading into a golden-age. Nonetheless, I'm sure we will be experiencing some bumps in the road. Regardless of what unfolds, God is faithful and always protects his children! May God bless you and your family.
